Oh, yeah…I retired.

So, I retired June 1st. It wasn’t something that I thought about a lot. I mean, out of curiosity in January I reached out to TRS to see if I COULD retire, that is, was I eligible to retire…turns out I could have retired last school year. On March 31st the tumblers all fell into place, I made the decision, and the peace enveloped me. I love it when that happens. So…I plan to finish my master’s degree and see if I can live on my pension. I am unafraid of what’s next. Fear has served its purpose in my decision making, and now I am ready to be bold.
