We are going to go ahead and agree that this why I have been radio silent for so long.

It’s a cop out…the truth is that I have just been underwater, overwhelmed, and caught up in the drama, and not in a good way.

I am coming out the other side, however…the planet is tilting away from the sun, the pre-dawn walks with Luna are brisk, and I can feel that little spark fanning into flame. I am convinced that I reverse hibernate…I am surly and standoffish when it is hot outside and come alive when the temperatures drop.

The biggest news for my follower is that I started graduate school in August. The University actually let me come back to pursue a masters degree. It is a ton of work, but the professors are amazing and my classmates are the bee’s knees. It is an unusual feeling to be on the other side of the podium…not that any of our hip teachers use a podium…it is helping me to further empathize with my students as they struggle with time management, large workloads, professional communication, and fatigue.

I chose this. And they chose ME. And Dr. Rose says they don’t make mistakes, so it must be true. I belong here.
